What is a Club-Host Family?
Staten Island Monarchs is in need of a small number of high-quality, welcoming families that have comfortable homes to provide accommodations for our USL players. Players require a private bedroom or shared bedroom with another player. Players will be responsible for their own transportation and daily nutritional meals.
Players in Need of a Host Family
Male players between the ages of 17 and 29 years old are in need of high-quality accommodations from April 15th, 2024 – August 6th, 2024.
Accommodations
Players will require a bedroom that includes a bed, desk, chair, pillows, towels, linen, wireless internet access, laundry facility, and storage space.
Expenses
The Club operates in a fast-moving environment, so we require host families who are flexible and dedicated to caring for a player with a busy schedule. Staten Island Monarchs will make a contribution to the host family’s utilities to cover hosting expenses, recognizing the commitment required from the family.
Benefits/Perks
Staten Island Monarchs will provide hosting families with 4 complementary home game tickets for each of our 7 home games, 2 Monarchs scarves, and 10% off merchandise.
Application
Please fill out the application and we will get back to you within 3 weeks to meet in person and discuss the details of the expectations for the family and the player so that both parties are in alignment.
